Data entry is fast and easy with our streamlined, spreadsheet-like interface. Quickly type in data or import it from a variety of text files. If you use portable data collectors, counts are easily imported and can be edited before processing. Use our detailed entry screen when counting inventory with lots, bins, stores and serial numbers. Also great for entering initial counts and new items.

Once counts are complete, Pro Series functions can resume. When you are ready to process, Physical Inventory accurately reconciles all activity since the count.

Run variance and estimated inventory reports to make count adjustments before
processing. You can even zero out items not counted.

Control the date and time that the system will be shut down for maintenance, closing, backups or any reason. Users will be logged out and no one will be able to log back in during the specified time in ShutDown Maintenance.
Force everyone out of the system at a specified time with no user interaction (except for the administrator that set the shut down time). Users will gracefully be logged out.
Will also log out Pro Alert Servers and Auto Print Servers.
If the user is running a long process (report or shipping), it will not log them out until the process is completed.
Users begin to be prompted about the shutdown time 3 hours prior to the scheduled time so they should have time to prepare for it.

GL Account Key Changer

Using the built-in "key change" functionality in System Manager, you can change item numbers, vendor numbers, customer number, and employee numbers -why not General Ledger account numbers?

Available in both a "GUI" and "non-GUI" (more powerful, less user-friendly) version, both versions of the GL Account Key Changer allow the merging of General Ledger accounts (have you consolidated divisions/departments and want to reflect that in your historical financials? - piece of cake!) and all changes are tracked in the Pro Series Key Change Log (sydxlog.dbf).

All GL account information in the Pro Series Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Inventory Control, Job Cost, Purchase Orders, Payroll, and Sales Order modules, plus Lahey Manufacturing System Modules are changed.

The non-GUI version is a Visual FoxPro program (development copy of Visual FoxPro required) which allows the changing of multiple accounts at once - and even allows the complete changing of your GL account structure! You can change both the number and size of account segments - mapping all your history (yes, even including unposted transactions) into your new account schema.

The GUI version is easily operated by an end-user from the "Custom" Menu, and no development copy of Visual FoxPro is ever required. While the GUI version does not allow changing your account structure, it does allow the merging of accounts.

This module allows you to do real-time lookups into your inventory using a flexible option grid where you can enter any combination of items, stores, bins, locations, lots, and serial numbers. Enter as much or as little information and see everywhere the inventory is located. Want to spot check your inventory? It has an easy one-off cycle count feature allowing you (with appropriate rights) to update the counts of your inventory in real time. Scan a particular store and see how much of an item the inventory says you have. Find out it is off, correct that inventory right at that moment. Since it lets you know if any has been picked for a sales order, you can rest assured that you know what should be there and so you can quickly gain a more accurate inventory. Warehouse managers love this feature as it provides them with an easy to use interface to spot check their inventory.
